How does the free trial work?
Organizations get 30 full trial days, no credit card required. When it ends, if you don't pick a plan, your account falls back to the free limits — your data stays intact, nothing is deleted. Individuals don't need a trial: the Gratuit plan never expires.
Which modules are included in each plan?
All seven modules — Mail, Docs, Files, Meet, Calendar, Contacts and Convo — are included in every plan, including Gratuit. What changes between plans: storage, video-meeting limits, and a few organization capabilities (custom domain, priority support, migration assistance).
How is storage calculated?
A single quota covers your mail, files and documents together. On the per-seat organization plans (Démarrage, PME and PME+), the quota is pooled: the organization quota is the plan quota times the number of seats. Technical limits: 5 GB per file, 50 MB per email (attachments included), trash kept for 30 days.
Can I migrate my email from Gmail or Outlook?
Yes. Béluga includes a mail migration tool that connects to Gmail, Outlook and Microsoft 365 via OAuth — or to any IMAP server — and brings your messages over with their folders. For your Apple devices, a configuration profile sets up mail, calendar and contacts in a single step.
Are you subject to the U.S. Cloud Act?
No. Béluga is operated by Technologies Shelter-Bay inc., a Québec corporation with no U.S. parent or subsidiary, and your data lives on hardware we own in Québec. Two processes leave Québec, and we document them: card payments (Stripe) and, only if you record a meeting, audio transcription (Mistral AI, France).
How do billing and cancellation work?
Billing is monthly, in Canadian dollars, processed by Stripe — we never see your card number. GST and QST are added to the listed prices. You can cancel anytime from your account; the subscription ends at the close of the current cycle. There is no annual billing yet.
